Steve Kilbey

Steve Kilbey has been incredibly prolific over his career. He has more albums solo or with a collaborator than with main band, The Church. And unlike so many other artists who are prolific only because they don't seem to have a filter, Kilbey's work is incredibly consistent.

  1. Hello DV,

I discovered your blog recently. Great stuff here. Thank you so much for the great Church reissues (I have all the original Lp, but reissues have bonus tracks!) and Steve Kilbey. Cheers.

  2. His latest solo 'Sydney Rococo' is just fantastic !
There is also one with Mimesis called 'Art Imitating Life' which is kinda weird but also very good
with Kennedy there is the latest 'Glow And Fade' that goes beautifully to prog-rock territories...
And !! there are 3 Commissioned Songs albums called 'Songs From The Real World' Vol 1-3 which I haven't even had the chance to hear
